Sizes

yourdecoshop door photo wall paper consists of 3 equal units. Each unit measures 70cm x 100cm (W x H) and is numbered on the back to avoid a mix up of the units.



Surface preparation

Proper preparations are the most important thing! For a long-lasting delight with your motif, we recommend to assure that the surface onto which you want to attach yourdecoshop door photo wall mural have the following features:

- Clean
- Smooth
- Dry
- Sustainable

Irregularities (holes, cracks, etc.) of your wall have to be repaired carefully. Make sure you have removed all wallpaper residues completely. Latex and oil-based paints have to be grinded off beforehand. Highly absorbent surfaces must receive a prime coating – for a smooth and uniformly absorbent surface. This allows the wallpaper paste to be absorbed best by the wall, ensuring adequate drying of your door photo wall mural.



Mounting Made Easy

Before mounting your door photo wall mural, you have to cover it generously with wallpaper paste, leaving it for at least 3 minutes. During this process each unit expands to 2cm. Before you mount your wallpaper, according to the numbers 1 to 3 on the back of each unit, cover your door generously with wallpaper paste. Ensure you attach all parts edge to edge. Any surplus wallpaper paste can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Use a cutter knife to create smooth edges and achieve a custom-fit result. Furthermore, avoid a draft and overheating of the room since the wallpaper paste is still active until its complete drying.

Need a change of scene?

It's best to use wallpaper remover which can be purchased at any DIY store; or simply make it yourself: fill a bucket with water, add a few splashes of dishwashing liquid and apply the mixture lavishly to the wallpaper. After a short exposure time the wallpaper can be easily removed from the door.
